Wednesday Blues
Early shift this week (6AM - 2PM) usual stuff, playing with fw's, routers & catalysts. Nothing exciting.
One of the admin chaps (supposedly there to protect the technicians & filter dross calls) shouts out, at the top of his voice; "Can anyone tell me; if a client has a /24 network does he have to put an IP address on his networked printer in order to print to it?"
This particular chappie has been at the firm for 3 years. D'oh.
"No, [insert twats name], it's obviously automagic & can read fridge-waves, BTW a /24 is the clients IQ, what's yours?"
"So, what do I tell the client, can he print or does he need a new network then?"
End.
